Matching with heat shrinkable or cold shrinkable materials, it is used at the terminal and intermediate joint of 10kV and above high-voltage cable. It is wound at the connection of intermediate fittings and the cut-off of outer semiconducting layer of cable, forming a certain characteristic impedance at the end of cable shield, playing the role of electric stress control and insulation filling gap.
